A Look at the Successful Career of Ryan Seacrest From a Local Radio Host to a Famous TV Host

Ryan Seacrest is a man of multiple talents and is known for his promptness on stage. He first became famous as the host of the famous reality show ’American Idol’. But, what many people didn’t know was that he was already a local celebrity in Los Angeles before he joined the show.

Ryan Seacrest, a fashion line creator, was born in Atlanta and was a student at the University of Georgia. During college, he interned at a local radio station where he got his first job. In the mid-90s, he moved to Los Angeles after he got a lead on a radio show that was quite popular. According to GQ, he began hosting the show ‘Ryan Seacrest for the Ride Home’. The show became quite a hit among the locals but was shut down after Ryan Seacrest (@ryanseacrest) bid goodbye to his radio jockey career. He received an offer of being one of the hosts of ‘American Idol’ in 2002 and was the host till the show was ended in 2016. While doing the American Idol show, he was heard in yet another radio show with the name ‘American Top 40’ that is running till now. Due to his bright personality, he also received some high-profile TV hosting opportunities such as the E! News, and E! Red Carpet. He also co-hosted the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on ABC in 2005 alongside Dick Clark. But, when Dick passed away, he became the solo host.

Ryan Seacrest was also the executive producer on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ ever since the show was premiered on E!. Along with TV shows, he was also seen in the famous movie ‘Knocked Up’. He was the correspondent for NBC for two consecutive years, during the London 2012 Olympics and also the Rio 2016 Olympics. Most recently in 2017, he joined Kelly Ripa as the co-host for the “Live” daytime talk show after replacing Michael Strahan. In 2010, he was the recipient of the Emmy award for outstanding reality program for the show “Food Revolution”. He is a role model for all those who want to make it big in the industry.
